A Third Small Thing for You to Know

Be Strong. Be Thankful.

Another Small Thing for You to Know:

Be Happy.

Your father and I are going to do everything in our power to ensure this is never a problem, but unfortunately, we cannot control everything in your life. There are going to be things that make you unhappy, and this is something that cannot be avoided.

Whether it is something we won’t let you do, something that happens at school, or something that happens during your adulthood, we want you to remember to try and be happy. Society will certainly bring you down in spirits at one point or another in your life, but trust me when I say this; being unhappy and moping around is the least productive thing you can do in life.

Don’t spend time focusing on bad things in the world, or worrying about what could happen, instead live in the moment and enjoy what you have, and who you have.

Sometimes it takes a lot more effort to be happy, but it is well worth it, my love!

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

PostScript for you on Week 14:

Your father and I are having a hard time thinking of names for you. I like Autumn for a girl and Austin for a boy. He likes Zoey for a girl and Hunter for a boy. I refuse to name you Hunter because your father is going through a major redneck phase right now and also wants to do your nursery in camo, regardless of your sex. Then again, Hunter Micheal Bopp does have a certain ring to it…

Oh, and his first name suggestions was Jackson Micheal!! You will never fully know the impact of Micheal Jackson on the world, but he was perhaps the most iconic pop legend of the 80’s/90’s, and even though he was good (obviously), I just can’t do that to you.

Also, you are the size of a peach this week. So now you are my little peach! ❤
