I feel it in the bottom of my feet first.
That point in the center of the arches of your foot, the exact dot that serves as the bottom of your being, the lowest of low, your last chakra, so to speak.
The sensation follows up to my spine, slowly, yet not slow enough.
It is impossible to not arch my back, to not stretch every possible muscle running up to my neck, the feeling coming in waves that don’t stop.
I can’t help my hands, grasping, tensing, grabbing anything.
My head feels it last. It relaxes, it releases tension, it blissfully fills itself with white noise.
Then it’s over. Then I’m back.
