Chichen Itza – A Modern Day Wonder

I am back, I am editing photos, and I am already missing the sultry seaside air of Cancun. This was my second year in Quintana Roo, and I would say this year was better simply because I got to get out of the resort strip a lot more and see more of Mexico’s rural countryside.

This trip’s highlight? CHICHEN ITZA.

My fiance and I went along with a coworker of mine that was in our group (we went with 21 people total) on a 12-hour excursion to Chichen Itza, Valladolid, and a local Cenote.

Our day was educational, it was entertaining, and it was HOT!

I have so many photos to share, here are just a couple to get started!
